Overview
Pricing for our products varies depending on product type. We produce several products from our collection of stock photography: Note cards and note card collections, postcards and postcard collections, and custom calendars, Rights-Managed and Royalty-Free digital licenses, color photo prints, and photo comps.
There are currently 42414 photos in regular rectangular format and 855 special panoramic photos that come up in a panoramic viewer when you select them. Read more about our Panoramas.
These are the Product Types available for all Photo Stock Source photos:
- Rights-Managed License
Rights-Managed Licenses are available for digital images with guaranteed protection for exclusivity. These images will not be resold for the term of the license. These licenses are offered in two resolutions: 72 dpi for web based low resolution applications and 300 dpi for printable media and are of interest generally to the graphics design professional. The license fee is based on the resolution and size of the digital image. Click on the button under any image for specific prices and sizes.
- Royalty-Free License
Royalty-Free Licenses allow multiple time/multiple purpose usage. It does not protect exclusivity - this same image can be bought and used by others at any time. These licenses are offered in two resolutions: 72 dpi for web based low resolution applications and 300 dpi for printable media.The license fee is based soley on the image size and resolution of the photo you need and carry no guarantee of exclusivity (The image can be purchased by others, anytime). - Photo Prints
Photo Prints, ready for matting or framing, are priced depending on print media quality and size. These photo quality prints are available on 3 grades of paper. Dye Satin(lifetime 11 years), Archival Satin(lifetime 150 yrs), and Archival Matte(lifetime 150 yrs,Fine Arts Quality). All images are available in B&W and in custom sizes on request.Click on the button under any image for specific prices and sizes.
- Panoramas and Panoramic Prints
We have hundreds of panoramas available for digital licenses and prints and we can stitch together your own overlapping panorama-ready images. Prints are priced depending on size. Click on the button under any image for specific prices and sizes.
- Photo Comps
Photo Comps (for "comprehensive renderings"), are available as a complementary offering. Photo Stock Source allows you to download the watermarked previews of any photo on this site to help in determining the feasibility of the photo in your project, for planning, or for presentation for approval.
- Note Cards & Note Card Collections
Photo Stock Source has its own line of personal greeting cards, note cards and holiday cards. Every photograph on this website is available as a card. You can choose your own collection of individual images, select a number of the same image, or choose a packaged theme collection of 10 cards each, described below. Note cards cost $2.25 each or $19.95 for a set of 10 for the regular size and $2.75 each or $24.75 for a set of 10 for the large size.
- Postcards & Postcard Collections
Photo Stock Source has its own line of personal post cards. Every photograph on this website is available as a postcard. You can choose your own collection of individual photos, select a number of the same photo, or choose a packaged theme collection of 10 cards each, described below. Postcards cost $1.45 each or $12.95 for a set of 10.
- Slide Shows
You can create browser-ready slideshows for your own website, blog or online project from your own images or from ours. These are made available to you in the form of an HTML webpage with an embedded Flash SWF and installations instructions. These start at $19.50.
There are several differences to consider in Choosing Rights-Managed or Royalty-Free licensing. The main difference is that Rights-Managed licensing allow you to control the use of your photo by others.
All purchased products are delivered without watermarks. They are scanned at resolutions many times higher than what your computer screen and browser can display - so they will be much sharper and clearer than they appear here.

Rights-Managed License products are high-quality images with their license fee determined by your specific use. Their license fee is determined first on Usage: Web/Video Display, Print/Promo, Editorial or Advertizing - then on page size. You can see the various license choices and their prices by clicking on an button under any Gallery image and choosing the Rights-Managed License product type.
Purchasing this type of license is similar to "renting" the photo. To keep things simple, the term for all usages is one year except for Editorial which is three years. If you want the photo for a different use, or if the term expires, you'll need to acquire an additional license.
You may not use the photo in any way other than what is explicitly stated on the specific license for this photo (included as part of the invoice receipt) without paying an additional fee. Please carefully read the Rights-Managed License Agreement or view the printable Rights-Managed License Agreement PDF.
Rights-Managed photos can be delivered in compressed JPEG format as an Email Attachment,or in full resolution TIFF format via Online Download or on CD by Regular 1st Class mail or Express 2nd Day Mail.

Royalty-Free licensing prices are based solely on the image size and resolution of the product you need, not the specific use. You don't pay additional royalties for different uses. You can see the various choices by clicking on an button under any Gallery image and choosing the Royalty-Free License product type.
When you purchase a Royalty-Free product, you may use it multiple times for multiple projects without paying additional fees, however, there is no guarantee that it won't be bought for use by others, at any time. It may be used for virtually any use (with the exception of anything that is pornographic, defamatory, libelous or otherwise unlawful). Royalty-Free licenses are non-transferable and are only granted to the person or company that purchased them. Photo Prints
All photographs on this site are available as Photo Prints. These are reasonably priced, photo prints available in several different sizes - suitable for mating and framing. You can see the various choices by clicking on an button under any Gallery image and choosing the Print product type.
Photo Prints are delivered via Regular 1st Class Mail or by Express 2nd Day Mail. Large Panoramic prints are delivered in a mailing tube. If you have needs for prints sizes or options not listed in our available options, please contact us

Panoramas and Panoramic Prints
We've developed tools, techniques and procedures and that, along with substantial experience, allow us to create a single panoramic photo from your panoramic segment photos. The photo we create is as high resolution as possible, anywhere from 30 - 190 MB.
If you send us your overlapping photos, we'll construct a high resolution panoramic photo, put it on a CD, and return it and your originals to you by certified mail. We can also integrate your panorama photo with a java panorama viewer into a web-ready HTML page, complete with instructions on how to set and control photo display parameters. This viewer can optionally display clickable 'hot spots' that will display user defined text or link to other pages. We can print the panorama we create for you up to 13" x 44".

Photo Comps or "comprehensive renderings", also called FPO's ("for position only"), are available as a complementary offering. Photo Stock Source allows you to download the watermarked previews of any photo on this site for purposes of "comping": determining the feasibility of the photo in your project, planning, or presentation for approval.
Large Photo View
To download a comp photo, you must first acquire a Large Photo View. This is done either by clicking on the photo, or by clicking on the Large Photo View button found under all Gallery, and Search photos.
Clicking this button will display a large, watermarked, version of the photo.
Downloading Photo Comps
You do not have to be signed up or signed in to Your Account to download Comps. However, by downloading the Comp preview photo, you agree to be bound by the Photo Comp Usage Agreement (HTML) (PDF).
Internet Explorer
- Right click on the large photo.
- Select the Save Picture As option from the pull-down menu that appears.
- Choose the destination file where you want to save the photo.
- Note the folder and filename you are saving the photo to.
- Click Save and the photo file will be saved to the chosen location.
Netscape
- Right click on the large photo.
- Select the Save Image As option from the pull-down menu that appears.
- Choose the destination file where you want to save the photo.
- Note the folder and filename you are saving the photo to.
- Click Save and the photo file will be saved to the chosen location.
Mac
- Click and hold your mouse on the large photo.
- Drag and Drop the image to your desktop or a folder.

All cards are borderless on the front and they come in two sizes: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".The regular sized cards cost $2.25 each and the large sized cards cost $2.75 each. There is a 10% discount on all quantities of 10 or more. Note card collections of 10 cards, cost $19.95 for the regular size and $24.75 for the large size.
Note Card collection sets are based on various themes from all over the world. They contain 10 cards specially picked by the artist. You can order each set in either the large or small card size. With note card collections, if you choose to have us professionally print your words, the same words will be printed inside each card in the collection.

You can choose to either leave the back blank so you can hand write your own message, or you can have us professionally print your words for you at no extra cost. They provide an attractive method for sending promotional advertising at low cost. The current postcard postal rate is 26 cents.

We can produce slide shows for your website, blog or online project. These can be created by using any of the images from this Photo Stock Source website or from images that you upload yourself.
To create a slide show from Photo Stock Source images, simply add the images to the Lightbox and then click on the 'Create Slide show' button at top of the Lightbox.
To create a slide show from your own images, upload them using the tool below. You can build your slide show by loading, removing, and reordering images and displaying the slide show results at any time. Slide shows can be created from any JPG, GIF or PNG image files and you can order them in many different sizes.
